Airable screened soy-based chemistries to identify ones with the required properties:

Water solubility, Standard API brine solubility, and High pH stability​​

Airable conducted primary characterization on promising formulations to determine:

Effectiveness, Temperature stability, Cation tolerance, Iron tolerance, Low toxicity, Biodegradability, Cost/performance index, and Specific formation brine tolerance

Airable modified the selected formulation to match LFS’s precise characteristics.

LFS evaluated the formulation, confirming that it significantly delays scale formation.
